Water Day

I melted today... it was sweltering outside and I was there most of the day. The kindergarteners have water day every year at the end of the school year. This year, the Boiling Springs Y is open and they have a splashpark. One of the K teachers worked it out so that the kids could do water day there this year. It was a lot of fun, but SO hot! Thank goodness for the pool, because I couldn't have stood it at the school with the measly sprinklers and dirty kiddie pools. We were there from 9 to 2... that's a long day. Because there are 6 kindergarten classes, they split up the kids into stations so it wasn't so crowded in the pool area. We were all pooped when we got home. Here's some pictures from today. (I didn't get any in the pool area... too many kids splashing around)

That looks like SO MUCH FUN! You may have solved our "what are we going to do for a sprinkler/pool thing in the yard and how are we going to keep cool" dilema. I had completely forgoten about the water park stuff- thanks!
