Kensley singing her ABC's

Kensley was playing with some blocks in the boys room the other day and started singing her ABC's. It was so stinkin' cute, I just had to get it on video. Of course, when you pull out the camera, they always do something different. This is pretty good though. She concentrates more on the latter half of the alphabet. I still say, not to bad for an almost 2 year old!

It's outta here!

Finally, I have my house back. I dropped off my WeeRuns consignment stuff this morning... 290 items... wow! Now comes the task of cleaning the house. The boys are going to a sleepover tonight, so I plan on getting some heaving duty cleaning done. I've got lots to catch up on. I've said for a month that when I get my consignment stuff done that I will do _______ (fill in the blank).

Let me just say that in less than a month, my baby will be turning 2. 2! Didn't I just have her? Each year flies by faster & faster. I ordered her birthday party stuff this week... Minnie Mouse... she LOVES Minnie! I'm working on her invites now too (pictures made with my new camera!) It's so much fun shopping for little girls. I guess because I can relate better to dolls & barbies than I can to cars and action heroes.

Lots of blanks to fill in now... until next post! Ta-ta for now.

Labor Day Beach Trip

Every fall we always vacation with Corby's family... either in the mountains or at the beach. This year it was the beach rotation, so we headed down to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. It was so much fun... as always. The kids love spending time with all their cousins and it's nice to spend time with Corby's parents, brothers & sisters. There are 22 of us in all (Corby has 4 brothers & sisters). MamMaw Wanda had lots of activities planned and that's always so much fun to see what she's come up with. This year we had Beach Olympics. All the kids & the adults participated in everything from tug-of-war to being blinded folded & making a dash for the ocean to bring back a bucket of water to being an adult " baby" while the kids dressed & took care of us...needless to say, we laughed a lot this weekend. We also made stepping stones for MamMaw & PapPaw's front yard. All the grand kids make one to send home with them & then we got to make one to bring home. This was a really cool project! I took a ton of pictures (as usual) and might I add that I LOVE my new camera. Here's a little video that I made... I hope it works.
