Week 2

I'm in week 2 of the NewThru30. At first it wasn't bad. Started off with the book of Matthew. We are going in chronological order, so then we went to Acts. Yawn.... boring...especially the 2nd 1/2 of the book. Sorry, but tis true. At least from my opinion. However, I made it through. I'm a 1/2 day behind, but still pressing onward. Hoping to catch that up tonight. It has been quite the challenge of finding the time to sit down for at least 30 minutes each day & be still. I find myself wanting to catch up on some TV show or get on the computer. I'm vowing to stay disciplined though. I've read lots of these stories before in little snippets, but when you read practically a whole book in one day you tend to contemplate it a little more. It's so amazing that we are dealing with so many of the same things today that I am reading about in the Bible! (Yes, I've known this, it's just sinking in a little more each day I read) Wow... and people think that it's an "old" book that doesn't relate to today.
