Beach Bound!

Me & the kids are heading to the beach tomorrow morning with my parents. I am excited, but I think the boys are more excited than me...the countdown has been on all week for them. Corby cannot join us this time... it's the first week of summer camp & he's leaving on Thursday to go to FL for a training. I always enjoy the beach... just the thought of relaxing by the ocean, with the wind blowing in my face, my feet buried in the sand & the roar of the ocean... ahhhhh. So, I'll have plenty of pictures to post on my return.

We're in!!!

Yes, I'll admit it... I am going to the New Kids on the Block concert AND I am very excited about it! Me & my 2 sister-in-laws will be traveling to Atlanta at the end of October to see my heartthrob, boy band from the high school glory days. The tickets were not cheap, but it will be so worth it to spend that time with my SIL's and relive the 80's. I sure hope it's a good show. We'll have fun nonetheless.

Pool Par-tay!

We celebrated the boys birthday this afternoon with a pool party at the new Boiling Springs Y splashpark. It was a huge hit! Everyone had a great time. This is the first time that I've done their parties together and I liked it. It was much easier seeing how I invite most of the same people to both of their parties anyway. I let both boys pick a few friends from their class to go along with our regular crowd. They played in the pool then we had pizza, cake & opened presents. It was blazing hot again today, so the water was a perfect way to cool off.

Chandler was 8 on May 24 and Carter will be 6 on July 1. They got so many presents, they should be well occupied this summer.
