Update on the Carter stories"

So you know he's always got something to say. His teacher informed me yesterday that we now not only have 1 police dog, we got 2 new ones & one of them is having babies..... when will it ever stop!!! (honestly, I think it's hilarious & enjoy hearing what he's thinking up... at least at this point I do... I don't want anything dirty or bad)
We had Donuts for Dads today at the boys school. This is where Dads come & carve a pumpkin with their kindergartners. Corby is out of town, so I filled in as Dad today. We carved a pretty good pumpkin I must say & the kids got to go back tonight dressed in their costumes & to a spooky parade (picture of Carter & his teacher Mrs. Cooke) to see all of their pumpkins lit up. I must say that I have the most adorable little kids... look at them in their costumes... how cute are they!

Why the poll?

Some of you may be wondering why I put a poll about baby planners on my blog. Well, I was watching Rachel Ray yesterday & saw two moms who started their own business as baby planners in LA. Me & my friend Brandi talked about this right after I had Carter and she had her first daughter. I always want to find the best product for the best price, as far as stuff for my kids goes, so I research the crap out of it until I find what I'm looking for (Brandi is worse than me... that isn't really a bad thing though). My sister-in-law calls me "consumer reports Kendra"... ha! What can I say, I like to find out if it's good or not. Anyway, this sparked me to thinking about the whole baby planning thing again. I know when I was pregnant with Chandler, I had no friends with babies so I really didn't know what all I needed or what worked better than others. It would have been nice to have someone to talk to at least to get me on the right track. Now, obviously, after 3 kids, I've learned what works & what doesn't. So, I thought that I could offer my "expertise advise" (don't laugh) as a business. I'm just curious to who would be or would have been interested in something like this. So, vote please or leave me a comment about your thoughts.

Tale of all Tales plus UPDATE

I've always thought that Chandler was my most creative child and he still is... in a way. However, I have discovered in the past few months that Carter has a unique skill as well. His imagination. He can think up some doozies let me tell ya! He will try to convince you of some of the most crazy stories. My friend Elizabeth called me today to tell me of something that Carter told her daughter Hannah at lunch today (they are friends and in the same class & sit at the same table at lunch). This just prompted me to blog about him today.

So the story today was that Corby went outside yesterday in the backyard & took off all of his clothes... even the underwear... and took a shower in the rain.
Here's some more of his tales of wonder...(I might also add that NONE, even the one above, of these are true):
-We once had a hippo in the backyard that nobody else saw except Carter
-He told his teacher that his Daddy is now a police officer and we got a new dog that is a police dog that stays in our backyard in a cage. The sad thing is that she really believed him until I broke the truth to her.
-About a week after the police story, his teacher sent home a note that Corby is now a fireman as well.
-(this is a really long one view these entries #1 & #2 for the full story) the first day of kindergarten, Carter swore that his class took a field trip on the new bus... then after i kept asking him over & over (knowing good & well they went NOwhere) it went to just him & the PE teacher went on a field trip... then to just him & the PE teacher rode around the parking lot in the bus

There are plenty more of these stories, I just can't remember all of them at the moment. If I think of more, I'll update. Bottom line... if Carter tells you something, you might want to check with me or Corby before you believe him.
