Umm... where did the year go?

Am I the only one that thinks this year has flown by?  I mean, it's May 1... really?  Seems like the kids just started school a couple months ago.  Carter was asking the other day when he would turn 7.  I told him Chandler's birthday was in a few weeks & then his birthday was 5 weeks after that & then we would be going to the beach a couple weeks after that... and then school starts back a couple weeks after that !?!   What?  I just spoke the whole summer away in one sentence.

I remember vividly when I started thinking time was flying by.  It was the summer after my freshman year in college.  I remember going to the beach with some of my girlfriends and thinking "wow, this year really went by fast".  Since then, it feels like a couple blinks... but reality is that it's been 15 years!  I know the older you get the faster time flies, but man.

Speaking of college. I'm going to a college-reunion-sort-of tomorrow.  A group of us connected via Facebook & one of the girls said "let's get together"... so we are!  I am so excited!  It's been probably 12 or more years since I've seen some of these people.  Don't worry, I'll take plenty of pictures... for those of you that care :-)

Speaking of pictures... here's a few from last week.

For more viewing pleasure...

...I present the second installment of Kensley performing. Well, today not so much in front of a crowd, but just me... Mommy. I laughed so hard & I could just eat her up.

By the way, she's singing "Down by the station, early in the morning, see the busy trucks all in a row, hear the truck driver calling to the passenger, honk, honk, honk & off we go". No so much those words, but that's what it's "supposed" to say, or at least what I sing to her. The second song is Twinkle, Twinkle little star & the other songs are from her princess book that she tries to sing to, but yet again, words are not exactly there yet. Lastly, an encore performance from the preschool program of the Joy song.... Kensley's edit.

Enjoy!
