Bread "Limb"

Today is our anniversary.. well, technically it was yesterday (I'm posting after midnight) but I haven't gone to bed yet so it's still today. We've been married 11 years. Wow, that seems like a really long time. Corby called me this afternoon & said to be ready by 5pm. No details, just be ready. So I'm ready & I found out that he had lined up babysitters for the kids & we were going out to eat & to a movie. Our babysitters, Carl & Heather, were some friends from college that are in town for a few weeks. They kept the kids for us while we went to eat & saw Evan Almighty... great movie by the way.

When we got back all the kids were in bed & we all played board games until just now. It was SO much fun! We used to get-together with them on a regular basis & play BK (before kids). Then they moved to TN & we don't get to see them much anymore. Heather & I have a standing win against Carl & Corby in the game Pictionary. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a game of draw a picture & guess the answer. The guys have NEVER beat us in this game and I don't think they ever will. We like to rub it in! Corby & Carl have some great stories of things that they drew & couldn't guess. One of the best ones of all time was the word "country music". Carl drew a music note, a great city, marked it out & drew a country scene with a barn & animals... very elaborate & details... very obvious it was country music. Corby kept guessing over & over "no city music.... no city music". We laughed about that forever & still talk about it to this day. Well, we had another moment tonight. The word was "bread stick". Yet again, another simple word. Carl drew a piece of bread & he guessed that. Then he drew a tree & Corby guessed tree. Then he drew stick. Corby guessed limb. He pointed to the bread & stick & Corby guessed "bread limb"... he we go again! We all started laughing so hard we could barely get through that round. He never did guess "bread stick". Needless to say, Heather & I smoked them yet again. Somethings never change. It was nice to spend time with them & took me back a few years ago to how much fun we had.
