Learning to self-feed

I forgot how messy a toddler can be when learning to use a spoon. Kensley is almost 16 mths, so I figure I'd better get her used to learning how to feed herself with something besides her hands. It's really gross & she feels the need to wipe her mouth & tongue after every bite she takes. Then when her hands are nice & slimy with whatever she's eating, she wipes her hair or scratches her ear, you know, the kind of yuck or smell that only a bath can clean. So today, she smells like maple syrup from her oatmeal she ate this morning. (Yesterday is was macaroni & cheese & pears until bath last night)

PS... notice the hair clip. This is required to be in her hair as soon as she gets up in the morning. She says "bo, bo, bo, bo" until I put it in. If it falls out, then it must be put back as quickly as possible.
