The shoes are in the trash

Praise the Lord!!! Carter has finally given up the old shoes he's been wearing that are too little & worn out. We've battle back & forth for several weeks over these old shoes & he will NOT wear any other ones without a fight. Well today was the breakthrough. Mom came to visit today & got both the boys some "Cars" skate shoes... they are tennis shoes, but are kind of designed like Heely's. They both loved them, but Carter even said that he was ready to throw his old shoes away. He picked them up & took them outside & threw them in the big trash can. No turning back now.

The boys had a soccer game tonight and Chandler scored a goal! First ever (if I'm not mistaken) in an actual game. I was so proud of him. Carter has scored a few goals this season, but I think most of them have been in the wrong goal. Oh well... at least he's trying :-)
