Well, welcome to the land of snow! That's what greeted us as we arrived at 8:25 pm in Charlotte on Monday night. We knew it was coming & snowing (I got plenty of commentary from various parts of the county through phone calls, text messages & facebook) on Sunday night & Monday. I said all along that it would snow while we were gone, little did I know that I would actually be right. I LOVE to see snow falling. Yeah, it was nice & pretty to look at today, but I totally missed the most exciting part of it... coming down... apparently in snowballs from what I've heard.
On to other things. Returning to the land of the east has been good. I was ready to be home & missed my kids. But it's been a crazy day & I spent the whole day not really sure what to do first. I haven't got much done other than download my pictures to my computer & upload to facebook (if you are on there, you can check them out now... if not,you have to wait until I load the slide show later).
Just a tid bit of info on our trip. We had a fabulous time! Food was great, views were fabulous, atmosphere of the city was refreshing...it was so nice to have a break from routine for a few days & just do whatever we wanted... well, I did at least... Corby had class. We wrapped up the conference on Sunday night with a gala dinner event featuring keynote speaker, General Colin Powell. It was really good! Here's a couple pictures from Sunday night... I'll post more later.

Welcome back! I thought of you the whole time it snowed, Dori and I discussed how sad you would be! I am glad you had a great trip though and I am headed over to check out the pics!
