Today my firstborn turned 9. 9! Wow, that's almost double digits and I'm having a little trouble soaking that in. He's getting so tall (at my chin now) and that means in the next few years he'll be passing on over my head. I'm having the boys official birthay party in June, but we like to celebrate for each kid on their day. We started a little early last night. We had some friends over for supper, so I whipped out a cookie cake. Today was church of course, but we went to eat lunch at McD's (his pick) and came home & he opened his present...FireStation Lego City...loved it & they've been working on building all afternoon & still working at the present. This afternoon we went to see Night At the Museum 2...cute movie, probably not as good as the first one, but that could be because we had a 2 year old that wouldn't sit still for most of it and there was a little distraction involved. We are just hanging out this evening at the house & looking forward to a day off tomorrow.
Chandler you are growing up so fast. You are such a good kid with a good heart & we love you so much!
